Wahay there's no run at the start. About time too it's a crap idea I reckon...okay so I hate running. Because of the high numbers of solo riders there will be 200+ riders on the course during most of the event and at the start.
Pretty Chaotic so Theres going to be no run, instead you'll be lead by a quad from the arena in a square (see map) for approx 1.5 miles on fireroads, when you enter the arena again you'll then be on the course ride a bit more fireroad then start a really long bit of downhill !!!!(downhill?wow ) singletrack.
Pairs and teams will start at 8pm
Solo riders will start at 8.15pm
This should mean the last team / pair riders are entering the singletrack before the soloists have even started and prevent a bottle neck. This should give you all about 2 miles of fireroad befire you hit any singletrack and plenty of time to get spread out.

Good Plan in my book, but you watch the solo guys complain and have it changed by Saturday.
