Oh was I gutted I never had an entry........NOT.
I've never seen it rain for so hard for so long at a race. I got covered in crashed riders mud just watching.
BigRing slithered and ground his bike to a pulp to claim he's 14th in the Country while Adi and Paul from treads gamely stuck it out for nearly 3 hrs in the Senior class. Hey BigRing you would have been 16th in with the Elite boys! does that make it feel any better.

Meanwhile...........Vic Barnett won the MTB Race (60yrs to 65yrs) at the World Masters Games in Edmonton, Canada last Friday (22/7). His finishing time was faster than (55yrs to 59yrs) beating a close friend and adversary Christian Jupillat (France).
Vic has been a World Champion but never a Games Champion. This completes his Gold medal collection.
The following day (Sat) he rode the 18-mile TT and claimed a creditable 5th place. Still awaiting results from the Road Race yesterday.
