Hard weekend

Blimy suprised myself this weekend.
Sat saw a heavy early morning work session, so I could escape to play road racer in the afternoon. Getting the arms and legs out for the first time in 05 must have done some good as we kept with the big boys and I felt great up the hills and even jumped Adi and BigRing to the line..cool.
So Sunday, it was going to be a fun spin round Thetford on the Singlespeed, but after the start it all went tits up. I seemed to be the lead singlespeeder as the one I saw ahead of me initially developed into a two man team. So red mist took over from pootling and I had to give it loads.
Doing virtually the whole race with Katie Middlehurst, proved to be a great plan as we helped each other along and had a good old natter to make it interesting. And Bugger me if I didn't end up 10th rider home on the day and the winner of the Senior Plus race too Superb! My body is a crock oh shit today though.

Probably was that lucky Mascot at the side of the Track Hey Ed! Inflatable jack is on the team.
